Dubai Design Days

This week is Dubai Design Days and we couldn't be more excited! 

Some highlights of our visit wa meeting legend of design Marcel Wanders, locally based furniture designer Khalid Shafar and falling in love with Regina Heinz's ceramic art works. 

Snaidero Kitchens - Paolo Pininfarina in Dubai

Paolo Pininfarina is the core of the Pininfarina lineage today. Snaidero Kitchens middle east have invited Paolo to celebrate their opening in Dubai Design District and exhibit their Pinninfarina line kitchen line - Ola 20. 

We enjoyed our visit and talk, these kind of opportunities are ones never to miss! 

Jan Kath @ Iwan Maktabi - Dubai

Today we got to meet only one of our favourite carpet designers - Jan Kath!!! 

His stellar designs are created from the most unexpected things - the side of a rusty marine vessel, experementation with the old and the new, historical patterns and textured from world locations like 1900 southern russia or the Gobi desert turned to tactile materials - eternal rug designs meant to last.
